Nima Tabatabaei, PhD

Biography:

Nima Tabatabaei is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at York University. His research interests are design and development of hybrid biomedical optics imaging technologies for applications in early disease diagnosis and screening. Dr. Tabatabaei received his B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, 2005 and 2007, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2012. Dr. Tabatabaei carried out research for two years at the Harvard Medical School and Wellman Center for Photomedicine as a postdoctoral fellow before joining the York University in 2014.
